About the Photographer - H. Leon

H. Leon is a freelance wildlife and scenic photographer who enjoys the outdoors and hiking. He and his wife live in West Lafayette, Indiana and have traveled extensively throughout the 50 states photographing the beautiful scenic vistas and wildlife that are so bountiful.

His favorite area is Wyoming and Colorado. He hopes someday to have a cabin and studio in the mountains.

He graduated from the New York Institute of Photography and is a Lifetime Member of the International Freelance Photographers Organization.

His photographs have been shown at the Gift and Hobby Show, Indianapolis, In., The Brown County Craft Mall, Nashville, In., and the New Gallery Imports, Lafayette, In., where he has had a one man show.

He has had his photographs published in catalogues, on postcards and notecards. The New Gallery Import has purchased several photographs for the Gallery Collection. He has also donated his work to area Historic Associations.

H. Leon believes that photography is a way to help preserve the scenic and wildlife wonders of our country. He hopes his photographs will inspire people to appreciate MORE, the greatness of nature.
